About Sean

Sean Thomas Mahoney, 20 years old, passed away on April 22, 2014. Sean graduated from Groton-Dunstable Regional High School in Massachusetts and attended the University of Maine, Orono until he was a sophomore. He was a loyal and compassionate friend who loved to play hockey, travel with his family, hang out with his friends and go on adventures with his favorite Irish dog, Bailey. His personality was warm and uplifting; his smile and laughter could light up a room.

Sean was the kind of person who always put others first and has left a lasting impact on everyone that knew him. He was a son, brother and friend to many, and his vibrant energy lives on in his community. He will be deeply missed.
